Spectacular Eyecare is looking for looking for enthusiastic new team members interested in a career caring for our patients’ eyes. We provide comprehensive eye exams, additional medical testing, sell eyeglasses, and contact lenses.
Currently, we are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as an Optometric Technician. Duties for this position include the following:
- Open/Close the office
- Schedule appointments and referrals
- Verify Insurances
- Assist with pre-testing which include, but is not limited to:
- Visual acuities
- Blood pressure
- Color vision
- Depth perception
- Pupil reflexes
- Visual field testing
- Ocular pressure
- Retinal photos
- Record case/medical histories
- Assist Optometrist with procedures
- Assist Optometrist with tasks
- Assist patients with frame selection
- Make sure the patient understands proper use and care of glasses and contact lenses
- Assist with insertion and removal of contact lenses
- Make minor adjustments and repairs on eyeglasses
- Maintain inventory of supplies
- Housekeeping Duties
